Peptidci

Peptitler (Grekçe: πεπτίδια; “önemsiz sindirilebilirler”) tanılamamlanmış bir düzende, α-amino asitlerin birbirine bandajlanmasıyla oluşan kısaltarak polimerlerdir.[1] Bir amino asit lakırtııntısı ile başkası arasındaki bağ bir “amit bağ” yahut peptit bağı olarak bilinir.[1]

Tetrapeptit (Oligopeptit)
Proteinler polipeptit molekülleridir (yahut çok nüshada polipeptit alt birimi barındırır). Anayasa başkalık peptitlerin kısaltarak, polipeptitlerin/proteinlerin ise uzun olmasıdır.[1]

Protein sentezi sırasında her amino asit, diğer amino asite durmadan, kırılmayan bir polimer olan polipeptid zincirleriyle bandajlanır. Polipeptid kuruluşsına sertlan amino asitlerin her biri kuruluşya peptid bandajlarıyla bandajlanır. Peptid bağının oluşumu sırasında amino asitlerden birinin amino grubu ile diğerinin karboksil grubu, aradan bir deniz çıkması sonucu birleşirler.[1]

Vasati bir polipeptit zinciri 450 amino asitten oluşur.[1] Bilindik en uzun polipeptit, kestirmece 27,000 amino asitten oluşan, kas dokusunda bulunan “titin”dir. Polipeptid zincirine sertlan amino asitlere lakırtııntı (residue) adı verilir.[1] Zincirin bir ucundaki lakırtııntı, bağ yapmamış, hür amino grubu barındırır ve N ucu olarak adlandırılır. Aynı şekilde zincirin diğer ucundaki hür α-karboksil grubu olan lakırtııntıya C ucu adı verilir.
